The Nahui Ollin represents the cyclical movement of nature with respect to the four directions. The Nahui Ollin is a
fundamental concept in Aztec/Mexica cosmology, a guide for life and everyday decisions. The goal is to constantly strive for balance, even when there is struggle.
In Nahuatl culture, Tonatiuh means “the one who comes out shining” or “movement of the sun”. It is the name of the Aztec solar deity, known as the “Fifth Sun,” and represents the current sun traveling across the sky. Tonatiuh is a central figure in Aztec mythology, associated with the east and fire. Ollin (pronounced “All In”) is an ancient Aztec word. According to the ancient Nahuatl language, Ollin is derived from “yollotl”, which means heart, and “yolistli”, which means life. Ollin means move and act with all your heart right now! It means following your path in life wholeheartedly.
The eye symbol can be found in an important glyph called Nahui Ollin. The characters separately can be roughly translated as “four” and “movement,” but together, the two characters are They refer to the cosmos or solar system as the beginning of a new life.
Inspired by Aztec cosmology and nestled in the Magical Energy Triangle of Malinalco, Tepoztéco, and Xochicalco, Nikan Ká blends nature and well-being in a lush tropical setting.
My inspiration and motivation for creating Nikan Ká is based on my past personal struggles, my process of healing and my current journey of self discovery and desire to be the best version of me possible. Nikan Ká is unique space designed for profound personal growth, education and healing and provides the ideal setting for facilitators and guests to embark on life changing journeys. host all kinds of experiences, based on learning/education, self-
improvement, self-discovery, spiritual awakening and
enlightenment. The core concept is “Aqui estoy”, my life journey has brought me here, to Nikan Ká for an amazing life changing experience.
